About the Destination
The Extreme South Zone of the Andaman Islands, including Little Andaman, offers some of the most spectacular game fishing opportunities in the Indian Ocean. These waters are less frequently fished than other areas, resulting in healthier fish populations and more aggressive strikes. The crystal-clear waters and diverse marine ecosystems create perfect conditions for both popping and jigging techniques.
This special trip is timed to coincide with optimal fishing conditions in the southern zone, when migratory species are abundant and the weather is favorable. Our experienced guides know these waters intimately and will take you to the most productive spots that few other anglers get to experience.
The 32 ft Tropical Star is perfectly suited for fishing the Andaman waters, providing comfort and stability while allowing access to prime fishing locations in the Extreme South Zone.
Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day (21 Oct)
On arrival at Port Blair International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative. Transfer by road to the accommodation at Port Blair (20 minutes by road). The rest of the day is at leisure for getting your tackle set up, meeting your guide, and discussing the fishing plan for the coming days while you relax.
Day 2: Fishing Day 1 (22 Oct)
Depart early to take advantage of the best tides. The run to the Extreme South Zone fishing spots takes approximately 2-3 hours. We have plenty of bottled water, soft drinks and snacks on the boat to keep you energized through the fishing day. Freshly cooked packed lunches are provided on board. We return to port by 1700 as per local regulations.
Day 3-7: Fishing Days (23-27 Oct)
Over the next 5 days, you will explore various areas of the Extreme South Zone, including Little Andaman. Each day's fishing plan will be determined by conditions and species activity. Evenings are spent at the guest house relaxing and preparing for the next day's adventure.
Overnight accommodation: Shared rooms at our comfortable guest house with all meals included.
Day 8: Departure Day (28 Oct)
Transfer to the airport before your domestic flight to the mainland and your onward connecting flight. Departure time will be coordinated with your flight schedule.

For optimal fishing experience in the Extreme South Zone, we recommend bringing the following tackle (or rent from us):

- Rod: 7-8ft, 80-130lb class (heavy duty)
- Reel: 20000 size or larger, high drag capacity
- Line: 100-130lb braid with 150-200lb leader
- Lures: 150-250g poppers, large stickbaits
Jigging Setup
- Rod: 5'6"-6'6", PE 5-8 (heavy duty)
- Reel: 10000-20000 size, high gear ratio
- Line: 80-100lb braid with 120-150lb leader
- Jigs: 200-400g slow pitch and speed jigs
Backup Setup
- Rod: 7ft, 50-80lb class
- Reel: 15000 size lever drag
- Line: 80lb braid with 100lb leader

*Special permit fees are required for fishing in the Extreme South Zone and around Little Andaman. These will be arranged by us but paid separately by anglers.
Booking Information
A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot, with the balance due 60 days before the trip. All monies are refundable subject to our standard terms and conditions. You will need to sign an indemnity/waiver of liability form prior to getting on board.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers fishing activities and potential trip interruptions, especially for this remote fishing adventure.
